| back to team | Dr. Kumar Budur is currently the Medical Director, Neuroscience Research and Drug Development, Takeda Global Research and Development, at Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America, Inc, in Deerfield, Illinois, a research-based global pharmaceutical company. Additionally, he is the President of SomnoSolutions, LLC, providing hands-on sleep disorder diagnostic services. Dr. Budur has held staff positions and faculty appointments in Sleep Medicine and Psychiatry at the Cleveland Clinic, the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, and at Case Western Reserve University. He is board certified in Psychiatry and Sleep Medicine.
Kumar has numerous publications, poster presentations, and oral presentations to his credit, and his special interests include home sleep monitoring, sleep apnea, insomnia, the interface of sleep/psychiatry disorders, and Circadian Rhythm sleep disorders, among others. He enjoys spending time with his family, his wife, and their two-year-old daughter, their “little princess.” |
