Chirag M. Pandya


Dr. Pandya is currently acting as a medical director of the Sleep Disorders Center at ValleyCare Health System in Pleasanton, CA. He received advanced sub-specialty training in Sleep Medicine at the world-renowned Stanford Sleep Center at Stanford University. He did his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Health System in Cleveland, Ohio, followed by a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, and Critical Care Medicine. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Pandya has been involved in research related to the field of Sleep Medicine and has a number of publications to his credit. He has presented his research at international meetings including the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP), and the American Thoracic Society (ATS).

His special interests include the relationship between medical disorders and OSA, OSA and congestive heart failure, OSA in patients treated with opioids, and pediatric OSA. He plans to maintain affiliation with Stanford University as Adjunct Clinical Faculty and to continue contributing to the field of Sleep Medicine by collaborating with clinical research trials. He has been involved in the National Sleep Medicine Course along with Deepak Shrivastava, MD, on an annual basis in India.

Dr. Pandya enjoys singing, playing tennis, playing guitar, and spending time with his family and friends. He and his wife are proud parents of twins.
