The vision of the Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Disciplines (ACSDD) is to foster a collaborative environment were sleep practitioners can learn together, free from politics and free from hidden agendas. This type of collaborative learning environment fosters a patient-centric model in the treatment of sleep breathing disorders. This vision has grown throughout the United States, Canada and the Pan Asian region.
Unlike other sleep medicine organizations doing work abroad, the ACSDD does not dictate what needs or should be done by way of treatment. Every region of the globe presents itself with its own unique sets of problems and challenges; one size does not fit all.
The ACSDD works abroad sharing on-line and on-demand learning, organizing membership, creating conferences, and any other tools that assist in building collaboration and cooperation in the treatment of sleep breathing disorders.
